Our company is a art-painting and photo studio. We create unique hand-painted cool backdrop(s) for photographers and videographers, fashion photography, music videos, films, celebrity portraits, editorials and other.

Our twenty years of experience in wall decoration is now transferred to backdrops. Our knowledge of unconventional painting materials and techniques from the field of wall decorating techniques, makes us producers of the backdrops that will give your work a new dimension and original unique look.

Each individual has his own goal. Ours is the original and recognizable look of our backdrops. Accordingly, we comply with some of the work rules. We always make each and every one of our backdrops to be unique in design. This is achieved by combining textures, colors, various types of canvases and various types of paint application tools.

Oliphant Backdrops are synonym for hand-painted backdrops. You’ve probably seen these backdrops in photos by Annie Leibovitz whose style is very recognizable. Few more recognizable names in the world of backdrops are Schmidli Backdrops, Gravity Backdrops, Hapaca Studio and many others. They all create beautiful canvas. But that does not mean that all backdrops need to be in their style? Some of our canvases resemble theirs. And they are an excellent oliphant backdrop alternative, because of the favorable price. Other painters are in style of concrete, old wall, some used stencils, some are metal-like. A lot of different styles, techniques and different materials are in play. For us only one goal is what matters: Create a unique cool backdrop.

All our backdrops are shot flat without any additional contrast and balanced. We advise if you’d like to see the true colours please use a properly calibrated monitor, or try to look on different screens. Please be aware that all monitors are colour calibrated in different ways and the colours look different in different types of light.
